The 2011 Honors Awards Dinner – elegance under the stars, great food and wine, the company of pals and neighbors, brilliant honorees, mercifully short speeches. That was the 2011 Honors Awards Dinner this past Saturday at Heaven 'n Earth. Surrounded by 125 of our closest friends, we watched the sun set over the Great South Bay and toasted four Grovites – Audrey Hartmann, Richard "Bella" Iorio, Donald LaBohn, and the memory of Joe Scialo – all of whom have worked so hard over many years to make Cherry Grove "Home". Best of all, we raised more than $13,000 most of which will go toward the Save Our Community House Campaign. Many thanks to all our wonderful supporters and volunteers.
